Bay Rose Retreat is a block away from the ocean/bay. The house and grounds are neat, plenty of space, very clean, and the staff communicate clearly.

My sister lives in Eugene and 2 of my siblings and spouse gathered for a family trip. We stayed 2 nights, traveling north on the coast during the day.
The home was immaculate and very comfortable for the 6 of us. It was well stocked with necessities. The beds, pillows and linens were very comfortable. Thank you again for letting us know that the home was ready for early check-in if needed.

We had a great 3 day weekend and wished we could have stayed longer. We loved the round game table for bumper pool and card games. Very enjoyable selection of music CDs and vinyl records! What a treat! The kitchen was well stocked. The only suggestion we have is to upgrade the bunk bed mattresses as they were very uncomfortable. Otherwise everything was great. Overall one of the best homes we’ve rented on the coast.

What a great experience! The home was well appointed and had everything in place to enjoy a restful retreat. The location was perfect and even though it rained for part of our stay, there were games, puzzles, movies, books and great comraderie to make our stay enjoyable. The home was very clean and the manager made sure we were taken care of. I would very much recommend.

Perfect house close to Netarts.

This is my 3rd year renting this home, and I guarantee we will be back every year. This house is clean, comfortable, and has all the amenities anyone could ever need. It is close enough to town for anything you might need.

I would highly recommend this home to anyone!!!

This was a great place for a get together of friends.

A great rental for families. Loved the tables for games and puzzles. The kitchen was stocked amazingly for a rental. Hot tub is a nice size and temp. All in all a beautiful home. Our only complaints, last renter did not pick up after their dog and the beds could use updating as they were u shaped.

This was our second time renting this house, and won’t be our last. It’s perfectly located close to the marina, restaurants, but seems very private. The house is stocked with anything you might need during your stay. This is one of our favorite rentals.

Absolutely love this house it was clean had everything you would need for being at the beach staff was super friendly ready to answer any questions we had definitely will be making more plans to come back

We had eight adults and there was plenty of room for everyone. It was ready for our check in and it was very clean. It is just as pictured in the listing. Nice to have the second refrigerator in the garage.

The house was very clean. Sarah, the cleaning coordinator was excellent. The refrigerator in the garage was awful. She responded immediately and cleaned it. I think it would be helpful to have a service take care of the garage and outside areas of the house. The hot tub water level was low and the water cloudy. One of our members took care of getting it back in shape.
The bbq was a mess. We had to clean the surfaces before we could use it. The biggest problem was that the dishwasher didn't work properly. It would run down to the 10 minute time and then recycle back to the full time. We ended up hand washing the dishes for the full week. That was not a big problem for us even though we cooked most meals in the house, although other renters might have a problem with it. We think the dishwasher is old and needs to be replaced.
The house is very comfortable, clean and we have rented it for three years. The owners are very generous in letting renters use the garage with all of the clamming, crabbing gear in it. We bring our own gear, but we appreciate their thoughtfulness. We also think that they have too many personal items in the house. We might suggest locking more things up.
We clammed in the bay, crabbed in Netarts and Nehalem, surf fished for red tail perch, and got mussels to steam and smoke. I have crabbed the bay since 1973. This is the worst crabbing I have ever seen, and we surf fished 3 locations without catching one fish. The biotoxin prevented us from digging razor clams on the Northern Beaches. Something is going on in the Oregon waters. Either global warming is moving the crabs into deeper water, or the crabs are in a down cycle and maybe the commercial crabbers are taking too many crabs. Also, the commercial crabbing inside the bay is really upsetting. They can take as many crabs as they want. Many people are paying over $100 for a boat rental and are getting zero crabs in the bay. Oregon Fish and Wildlife needs to review these situations.

Our family had a wonderful weekend at this house. It was one of the best rentals we've ever had - it has a great location, very clean, and was stocked with everything we needed. Our girls had a blast in the hot tub! We would absolutely rent this house again

The kitchen was well equipped and had anything you would need to prepare the days catch. We will definitely be going back and enjoying this wonderful house again. The house was the perfect fit for our family. Lots of comfortable spaces to spread out in. It was a very quiet neighborhood with easy access to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked and plenty of linens and towels. Would definitely rent this property again.

We love Shore Thing Vacation Rentals and the Bay Rose Retreat. This was our second time staying and it did not disappoint. House is spacious and well equipped. Beds are comfortable and the hot tub is great to unwind after a day at the beach.

it's a great house, very clean and comfortable. We chose to keep our reservation because we knew we could find ways to stay away from crowds, brought our own food, etc. i wish there has been the order to close the county prior to spring break. but we had two good nights and one beautiful day on a very sparsely populated beach. my ratings are based on the home and not on getting the ouster.

We love this place

This home was everything we hoped it would be! There was plenty of room for us to be together in the living area and lots of space if you wanted some quite time. We enjoyed every Amenity the house had to offer! Fire pit! Hot tub! And lots of cooking in the well stocked kitchen for Thanksgiving! The best part was being so close to the bay! We could walk and not have to worry about parking! The property manager was eager to help in any way possible! And we Did need help :)

This is a perfect home to escape. We come annually for crabbing. Plenty space for parking a boat and additional cars. Walking distance to the boat ramp and beach. Home is equipped with anything you need. Monica with Shorething Rentals is kind and responsive.
The only issue we had was a couple people fell on the deck due to slippery wood. Monica was right on that. We'll be back!

We stay at the coast 4 times a year usually South. This was our first trip to Netarts and we will be back! This house was clean roomy well stocked and in a great neighborhood right by the bay. Walking distance to the bay and Schooners restaurant and we are in our 50s and 60s. Dogs loved it too! A must rent again house!! Highly recommend!!

Nice location for families to share

We had 2 families with 4 adults and 5 kids in this house, it fit us perfectly and the layout worked really well. House is clean and very well stocked with towels, linens, all kitchen ware, games and SO much stuff in the garage! Crabbing supplies, pots, boiler, rubber boots, 2 bikes, we used it all. A quick little walk down the road to the bay where we could look for crabs and eat at the Schooner restaurant. Kids loved this! Little grocery store around the corner, shop in Tillamook for more options.
This house was near perfect expect for a major downfall was the lighting in the house. The house is surrounded by trees and bushes very close to the house, so very little natural light can come in. Besides that, the house has poor lighting. The master bedroom doesn't even have a light on the ceiling, only 2 bedside lamps with dull bulbs. The only room in the house with good lighting is the queen bedroom upstairs with big windows which you can see in the picture. The rest of the pictures are kind of deceiving because it's actually very dark in the house. Which is really too bad because this house was so great for us!

Excellent accommodations! This vacation rental was absolutely spotless, well furnished to accommodate our family and kids. The kitchen was incredibly stocked with everything you could need which made for easy cooking. The house was even more beautiful in person and the garden was enjoyed by all. I already submitted a fairly lengthy and detailed review of the Rose Retreat home we stayed in last weekend, July 26-29, 2019. In that review, I listed some specific areas for improvement when cleaning the home. Some of these were: sand under the area carpets; drips and spills on cabinets and appliances, the ice and cold water dispenser in the refrigerator door was in bad need of a good cleaning; and the grove in the sliding glass door where the wood dowel sits, was full of debris including dead bugs. That is what I remember now. This time it is suffice to say the home was absolutely perfect accommodations for our cousin reunion. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to prepare a gourmet dinner for 10 of us, well except a garlic press. Had I checked first prior to heading to Safeway for grocery supplies, we would have purchased one for the house and left it there. Thank you for also being a super professional rental agency to work with and a major factor contributing to the success of our weekend. The furnishings in the home and the beach dcor were very nice with maybe the exception of the fake ivy on top of the cabinets. We all decided that needs to go! Thanks again for leaving us with such a positive feeling and a smile on all of our faces!

Bay Rose Retreat was the perfect escape for ordinary life. We've stay in many vacation homes in many different locations and have never found a home so well equipped. The home was clean and had everything you could need and more! We traveled with our three children and my in-laws and it was the perfect set up for all of us to have enough space. The Netarts Bay location was centrally located to be able to explore several beaches but not busy and touristy, which we loved. Monica and Sarah were so prompt to respond to any questions I had prior to our stay and everything was just as described. Plenty of linens, the kitchen had everything you'd need and more. There were clamming and crabbing supplies in the garage. Our biggest complaint (which isn't even really a complaint! I'm only saying this so others can see how perfect this place was!) was that the washing machine lid couldn't open all the way with the way the cabinets above it are, so you'd have to hold it open while loading and unloading the washer. We enjoyed the hot tub nightly and loved the open floor plan of the main living space. We can't wait to come back again soon!

It's a grate place to stay

The property is amazing. Ample supplies of kitchen utensils for cooking and meal prep. Plenty of towels and items that you may have forgotten for your holiday. The property manager was helpful and prompt to reply to inquiries. Located within walking distance to all the hot spots in Netarts. We will definitely be back soon! Great value.

My friends and I had a fantastic, relaxing weekend at Bay Rose Retreat. The team was super responsive, and the home was immaculate, with tons of amenities (including an incredible OLED TV). We look forward to making this trip an annual tradition, and would definitely book this property again in a heartbeat!

Overall it was great. I discovered the first time I went to use the blender that it was cracked. I emailed them about it. I didnt receive the info with the house lock box until I called for it. But no biggie. Really nice house with nice amenities. Very relaxing. Close to the beach. Hot tub was awesome. Large and roomy. Even more than the pictures show.

From the moment we opened the door to this home we were smiling. Everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The decor was tastefully done and lent to the feeling of quiet serenity that engulf Netarts. We had a relaxing wonderful three days there and hope to return soon.

Well stocked house, we didnt want for anything. Part of our weekend was spent watching football, and we couldnt have asked for a better audio/visual setup.

My family of hour had a great time at this house. It is very modern with plenty of room. The wood burning fireplace is great on a cold rainy day. The hot tub is new and covered which is also great. The drive to the Oceanside beaches is only 2 miles away.

Have been spending time on the Oregon coast for several years and our stay at the Bay Rose was one of the best. The bay Rose was well kept, clean and we had a great stay. We will be returning to the Bay Rose in the future.

We rented Bay Rose retreat as a temporary man cave. There are two tables for games, one for a big board long game (like Catan or Axis and Allies) and a smaller table great for cards, allowing you to switch between games pretty quick. The four bedrooms were perfect for us four past our prime dudes, and the hot tub was very nice. It has fast WiFi which is great if you bring your own Roku (like we did). The kitchen is well stocked but bring your own measure cups since those are limited. We did Sushi, BBQ, oven food and a fry up breakfast without issue. We never did figure out how to make the ceiling fan work, but it wasn't ever hot enough to need it. Overall a great place, and we'll be using it again for our gaming man cave. Go see Oceanside, just up the road for some amazing views, and hit the Old Oregon Smokehouse for amazing fish and chips.
