Netarts House

This home is down a shaded driveway and nestled in the trees. It overlooks a lagoon with lots of bird watching opportunities. Elk are visible in the area occasionally too! We’ll be back!
Sarah was wonderful and was available for anything we needed.

We have stayed at many vacation rentals and this one was one of our favs! Very quiet, great wildlife and waterfowl viewing. We can highly recommend. The vacation rental company was easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to ensure outstanding customer service. Hot tub was clean and a great place to relax at sunset watching birds settle in for the night. Beds were comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. Thank you for a fabulous stay. Looking forward to our next visit.

My family and I had a fantastic time at the Netarts House. We have been coming here for years , and Everytime our stay is amazing. We had a wonderful time watching the sunset from the hot tub. We also had a blast clamming and crabbing I. The agent. And Oceanside is just a short drive when you want to have a day at the beach. I can ot say enough great things out his place. We love it.

It’s a nice place, good location, great view the only problems we had were with the TV reception which was on and off and the parking, it’s pretty limited not much for a pickup or large SUV. We would stay there again.

This rental is just remote enough-down a small quiet road. It was the perfect coastal get away! The weather was ever-changing during our 2-night stay, but the views of the birds and elk kept us entertained! We would love to come back!

This was my second visit to the Netarts House and it will not be my last. The house is well taken care of and has everything you might need to make the stay comfortable. The view from the house and hot tub just cannot be beat. The walk to the bay is lovely and the beaches of Netarts and Oceanside are a quick drive away. There is plenty to do nearby, and the house is such a quiet and relaxing place to return to. Great communication from the owner and rental company as well.

House was great for our stay and we loved the view from the hot tub. We got a lot of bird watching in the second day which was cool to watch. We did have a few things arise during our stay and Sarah with rental company was so quick to try to resolve everything. I would 100% stay here again just because how great the rental company was. Great communication, cleanliness, and organization were on par. Thank you!

This home is located on a vibrant estuary nestled in Netarts Bay. Because there is no development built along this section of the bay, it tends to be rather quiet with moderate traffic noise. We enjoyed watching the white egrets and blue herons nest in the trees. One day there were elk in the neighboring fields. The home is a cozy two bedroom with a good sized, well stocked kitchen, and living room/dining room with plenty of outdoor viewing area. Sitting there on a rainy day making a puzzle or reading a book is a happy pleasure. Shore Thing is a rental company that is efficient, accessible, and one of the best we've dealt with. Their staff keeps the property clean and maintained. We appreciate their commitment to customer service.

This is truly a wonderful rental. The house was clean, well furnished and stocked with necessities. It has the luxury of a clean, well cared for hot tub, with an awesome view overlooking a marsh. The surrounding property is just as show in the picture, very lush, peaceful, and relaxing. The neighbors are far enough away to be unnoticeable, and the one we met on the road was friendly and helpful. If we ever make it back out here, this is the place we will stay. Peaceful, relaxing, and well located for exploring the coast in this area.

We stayed at the Netarts House for the second time: Last August 2020 and Late March 2021. We found it extremely comfortable and welcoming. We have a 16-month-granddaughter and it was a great house for her toddle around in. Our two small dogs loved being able to go sniff outside with out a leash (they stick pretty close to us) and the hot tub was loved by all. We liked it so much that we made reservations for another stay even before we left.

Shore Thing, the Property was as described. Cleaning crew did a good job and were helpful with questions. Not beach front but nice location. Dishwasher door broken :( and the home is in desperate need of New linens, wash cloths, towels and sheets!

Our stay at the Netarts home was delightful. The living area is very open and bright. The large windows face a beautiful and active estuary. Watching the cranes + blue herons was a joy. The managers, Shore Thing Rentals, were incredibly responsive. Especially the cleaning person. We walked along the bluff and in Lookout State Park. With COVID, activities were limited. Being on the bay side of Netarts is a different experience than the ocean side. It is more active with clammers and traffic. From the house, the traffic is visible and noisy at times. This was the one downside of our visit.

We had a great stay, privately located in the trees with a view of the bay. It was a last minute booking and was ready to go before I even arrived there less than two hours later.

We took day trips up to Seaside & Cannon Beach one day and down to Pacific City another. Tillamook had everything we needed on our grocery list, both Safeway & Fred Meyer. We were able to purchase fresh seafood from the local shops. Tuna, clams & Ling Cod were on the menu. Just a short drive into Netart’s is the Schooner. We highly recommend the crab dip!
The home was well stocked, quiet & very comfortable. We enjoyed the deck playing cards in the afternoon & enjoying our meals outside. Each night we ended our evening in the Hot Tub. What a wonderful bonus!

We enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. The location was fantastic and close to the beach, close to hiking, and places to eat. The views were beautiful and the porch was nice. The bedding needs updating and the house was a little dated in terms of the decor, but it was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We had a nice vacation.

I have to say our favorite part was the bird life in the nearby marsh. Breathtaking! It was the perfect place to unwind for a few days. It's also very close to Tillamook's activities, beautiful hikes and beaches. The home is quiet, comfortable and super well-equipped. The management company could not have been better or more accommodating. Highly recommend! We will absolutely return.

This place was phenomenal both in its private setting and condition of the home. The home is very inviting and comfortable with all the amenities of home. We throughly enjoyed our time and will definitely be returning. Our property manager Sarah was very helpful and gave us prompt responses to any questions we had. She was wonderful to work with. This was the best experience we have ever had with a vacation rental on the Oregon coast.

We had a magical weekend exploring the bay and beaches. The house is situated in front of a stretch of wetland. Waking in the morning to the sun rise and listening to the beautiful music of the wetlands was such a gift and truly relaxing. The view is epic. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We had a wonderful time.

We arrived in a wind and rain storm, all cloudy and dark. We opened up the house and found it warm and inviting. The heaters had been turned on and all we had to do was turn the fireplace on. In the morning the view from the deck is incredible, and listening to all the wild birds was a real treat. The home is so cozy and we would stay again for sure. Loved it.

This was an awesome house to rent. Very clean, nice and welcoming. The communication before my stay was perfect, we had all the information we could ask for. Very quiet surroundings. The only con I found was kitchenware. No full sized cups, and the pots and pans selection needed a few more. Small problems for an otherwise perfect rental. For sure plan to rent again in the future!

I highly recommend a stay at the Netarts House. It was clean, well furnished, and was located in a quiet neighborhood tucked back in the woods. If I had to describe our stay in one word it would be relaxing. The view from the front porch is amazing and includes a view of wildlife and the bay.
