Leave No Trace

We all play an important role in protecting our outdoor spaces. As we spend time in nature, it’s important to be conscious of the effects our actions may have on plants, animals, and even entire ecosystems. Following the seven principles of Leave No Trace, we can help minimize those impacts and protect our green spaces for generations to come. Leave No Trace can be applied anywhere, at any time, while taking part in recreational activities.

Leave No Trace Principles

  1. Plan Ahead and Prepare
  2. Travel and Camp on Durable Surfaces
  3. Dispose of Waste Properly
  4. Leave What You Find
  5. Minimize Campfire Impacts
  6. Respect Wildlife
  7. Be Considerate of Other Visitors
