Hardy's Hideaway

The view was gorgeous and house was open and welcoming! There were some issues with the house but Sarah and Monica responded right away and made it right!

This home is a great find. Lovely views, steps from the beach and everything you need in the rental. Parking is easy and it’s a quiet, cute little community.

Very nice place amazing location. The Wi-Fi didn’t work well and there were a couple of very tiny issues which is why I didn’t give all 5 stars but management was very responsive. I would absolutely recommend to anyone!!

We had a great time at this rental. I would recommend the website note that this house is up two very steep flights of stairs to get to the main floor as we had one family member in her 70's, one with a bad back, and one with MS. We managed but moving stuff in was a real challenge. Sliding glass door to the deck did not lock, and top floor bathroom sink plug was stuck, making the sink not usable. Those issues did not really affect our stay as the sink issue didn't happen until the last day. The company was excellent, helped my get a tablet back that I had left at the property, they let us know the house was available for early check in. I would definitely use this company again.

Great location and amenities; very clean. The heating was a little out of whack, with some of the bedrooms being unbearably hot with the living room being cooler. Otherwise, would stay here again if in the area!

We planned a long family weekend at the Oregon coast. From the pictures on the website this place looked perfect... and it was!! Furnishings we’re really nice but also comfortable/homey. Beautiful views and a short walk to the beach. And a short drive into town for restaurants, groceries and supplies. We spent time at the Tillamook cheese facility for a tour, samples and ice cream, followed by shopping for fresh seafood at Pacific Seafood for our evening feast (about 4 miles out of Tillamook. Overall, a wonderful and memorable . We’re already planning our return trip!!

(One more thing - the staff at Shore Thing were fantastic to work with!)

We stayed at Hardy's Hideaway for 1 week. It was perfect for 5 of us. The beds were comfortable. The home was very clean. It had wonderful views of the bay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

The property's location is excellent. I have been to other rentals along Happy Camp Rd many times in the past and have been delighted. This particular rental; however, is in desperate need of maintenance, fresh kitchen supples, and an overall remodel.

easy, casual house- amazing views,, and 2 houses to ocean. nice appliance with an icemaker, and the woodstock was really nice. Radint heat kept the place nice and cozy.

This was our family's 5th stay at the Lookout and each visit just gets better. The location is fabulous with direct beach access and the house is comfortable and well equipped for meal preparation and gathering together. Sarah with ShoreThing is terrific. She is friendly & accessible & always comes through with any special request. We hope to continue this family tradition in the future.

It's one of my favorite places to come relax and to enjoy the beautiful Oregon ourselves or with a few close friends. Hardy's Hideaway had everything we needed for a comfy stay and we love how close it is to the beach. The only complaint was the beds were very squeaky and a bit soft and uncomfortable for a week long stay. Other than that, everything about Hardys Hideaway was awesome.

Nothing better on a cold winter morning than a fire in the woodstove, hot coffee and book in hand, and just outside, a short walk down to the sea. Bed linens were crisp and cozy, lots of good towels and a good clean feeling to floors, countertops, baths. Loved the weather-protected parking and entrance. Lots of friendly dogs enjoying morning and evening strolls with owners. Very pleasant experience, all around!

We enjoyed this spot- after staying at so many rentals over the years at the coast, there are few that we would immediately stay at again and this is one of them! Great views, dog friendly, plenty of kitchen amenities (we cooked a full thanksgiving dinner!) and comfortable/clean.

This rental was very accommodating and the parking was great for 2 vehicles which is important when renting on the coast as parking is really limited in most rentals.
Very honest cleaning agency! They were great in returning a pair of Maui Jim's Sunglasses that were left behind. Thanks again! We will be back next year

Wonderful place to stay a few days before moving my daughter in to her dorm. House is in a perfect location to explore up and down the coast! We loved every moment there. And with a quick walk across to the beach, it doesn't get much better!

Clean, so comfortable, spacious and so close to the beach. We loved our stay at the townhouse, with its modern kitchen. It had all we needed to make all our meals, including a grill on the back balcony. We look forward to coming back to stay again soon.

Great location between bay and ocean. We had a 3 and 7 year old and a dog and it had everything we needed. We paddle boarded, went crabbing and enjoyed the wonderful beach. The house itself was perfect and the rental company was very available in case anything was needed.

Nice quiet location near a protected beach that still has great long stretches of beach to walk. Comfortable clean property to enjoy with two small families. Nice to have living area on top floor and bedrooms below. Management staff was prompt to respond and accommodating for check in and out times.

We had a great time at Hardy’s Hidaway. Our friends from Montana loved it. Being on the bay but so close to the ocean was the best of both worlds!

We enjoyed our stay at Hardy’s Hideaway. It is close to the beach and has a wonderful view. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had sufficient supplies to cook a decent meal. The gas grill was great! The downside to this rental is that there are a lot of stairs to climb and carry luggage up.

Wonderful, as expected. I was familiar with the location, but not the specific property. What was remarkable was the assistance and information we got from the property manager. At the last minute we discovered that the occupancy restrictions prevented us from having 30 family members (staying at other properties) over for meals. The manger referred us to a facility that would accommodate the gang and cooking and group activities.

The view was amazing. The access to the beach was very close. The condo was very comfortable.

We had a great stay, the condo is nice and clean, comfortable beds, kitchen well equipped and great view, just a few steps from the beach. It was very relaxing. Monica was able to answer our questions and everything went smooth. Would definitely rent again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is perfect! The kitchen is fully stocked which was great for breakfast and lunch for us. We arrived very late our first night and Monica was nice enough to turn on the lights for us and open a couple windows.

Hardy's Hideaway was perfect for our family while in Netarts, access to the beach is excellent, public parking lot is great for visitors, view is amazing. Monica is very accommodating with arrival/departures and check in, condo is in excellent shape, very well maintained, comfortable, easy access if you do stairs, no cell phone reception (not just condo, but anywhere in Netarts!) but you can text! Try "the Upstairs" tavern for lunch or diner, excellent fish and chips and service. Pay attention to tides if you're going out on the bay. We will be back!

We rented this home for accommodations for our Corporate Staff Retreat. Our guests were thrilled with both the accommodations and the location.

Hardy's Hideaway is such a special place. We were so comfortable here. Our 5-night stay was highlighted by many delicious meals that we could cook (and grill!) ourselves. What a pleasure to be in this kitchen and sit down at a beautiful, long dining room table for the feast. We slept happily in these beds. The ease of being so close to the water is a total treat for kids and grown-ups alike. We look forward to returning to Hardy's Hideaway.
